Soap & Glory Must Have Duo

I've been a fan of Soap & Glory for a couple of years now, but I have yet to receive any of the amazing gift sets that they put together at Christmas no matter how many hints I drop to my brothers!!! who knows maybe this year!!!

Flake Away Spa Body Polish


I was first told about this by my good friend C a few days before we were due to fly off to Cancun, some girls like to fake tan before they go on holiday, I like have a body polish, as I was watching the pennies I decided to buy one and do it myself and I will be forever grateful to C for introducing me to the this fantastic range.

Flake away is made with Shea butter, sugar and peach seed powder, sea salt, grapeseed and almond oils, that is quite a list of ingredients!!!!

On the tub it states:

The people at soap and glory certainly have a sense of humour!!! you'll find similar quotes on the packing of all of their products.

But now more importantly does this body polish live up to the hype HELL YES!!!!!
It has a lovely texture and is not to harsh on the skin.
It left my skin so smooth and silky I was totally blown away, an absolute must buy!!

The Righteous Butter, Body Butter

The righteous is a skin softening body butter is a formula that is made for very dry skin that contains Shea butter and Aloe vera. It has a dynamic moisture trap matrix to help hold in the moisture for longer.
This has a really nice smell, I find that most of the soap & glory range smell really good, which is a bonus in my book.

It states on the tub:

This actually keeps your skin hydrated, no top ups needed. It's ace when used after using Flake Away but just as good if using on its own. I like to use it after washing my hands.

E.L.F Mineral Infused Face Primer (budget friendly)

Firstly I will start off by saying that this is an amazing product, and you will never believe how much it costs!

NYX SOFT MATTE LIP CREAM (addis ababa, milan, amsterdam)

I first heard about this product from a you tuber called colouredbeautiful , she had on the addis ababa ( which is a fushia pink) and the only way i can explain to you, the way i felt, when i saw the colour on her lips, is to say "it was like lust, at first sight!" ohh my life, i just had to have it, hmmm, and three matt lip creams later....well (lol) you know the drill, i just couldnt resists!

I bought addis ababa, which is a fushia pink, milan, which is a soft pink, amsterdam, which is red.

warning! you will become addicted.

These soft matt lip creams are great, not only are they highly pigmented, and long lasting, (so there is no need to be re-applying every second) but they go on so soft and silky, and drum roll please! they do not dry out your lips, yess, they are that creamy..

TIPS:-  When applying these lip creams,(and any other lip product) make sure you exfoliate and prime your lips, trust me, it makes all the difference, to the finsh of this product...

I believe that any female of any skin tone can pull of these colours and if you do not like these ones, I am sure you will find a colour for you.

E.L.F Makeup Mist & Set

If like me your biggest worry in hot weather like this is your makeup running down your face, then I think I just have the answer....

S gave me a bottle of this stuff to try, when she gave it to me I was a little unsure as I had not heard too much about makeup setting sprays, but nevertheless I thought I would give it a go.

It is made with aloe, green tea, cucumber and vitamins A,C & E sounds good right?!?

There are 2 ways you can apply it on once you have put on all your makeup:

• Spray it on and pat it with a towel
• Spay it on and leave it to dray naturally

I opted to let it dry naturally and in weather like this it took less than a minute.

I was really surprised that it actually worked!! normally by lunchtime I need to give my face a little fix up but with this there was no need.

Also as a bonus you can use the mist to refresh yourself in hot weather regardless if your wearing makeup or not. so its perfect to take on holiday or have in handbag.
